After the departure of our COD4 team, the organisation was left without an FPS team. But fear no more!

Today Unique is back to FPS genre! I am more than glad to announce that Unique-Esports is picking up Quake live team. The new team consists of four old hard core Quake players having played for teams such as The Dog's Bollocks, and Team UK.


A statement from Managing Director Jordan 'JordanG' Goodman:

After searching the scene for a dedicated and worthy FPS team, we have finally came to a conclusion that Quake Live is the direction we would like to take. With this said, I would like to let all teams know that we are not interested in expanding anymore as we are happy with our current teams. As for the pickup, I could not be more than happy to call this team apart of the Unique family. We feel that this team will create a stir within the community that will make it hard for people not to know who we are. Again, welcome and enjoy!

A statement from Team Captain Ross "Styl0r" Cowe:

"We come from an experienced quake 3 background. Me and eXodus played for a tight german team called dwc at the end of q3. Having captained the Q3 UK TDM and CTF squads I decided to captain the UK CTF squad for quakelive aswell. here I found out about the power-combo of dest/me/ lth and decided to add in my old clanm8 eXodus for good measures. We played a few practices with great results and decided this close-gelled team is what we need to compete at the top level. We base our gameplay around great aims aswell as constant communication and tested and proven tactics making us a tough challenge for any clan. For the end I would like to say that we are very happy that Unique-Esports decided to take us in. With the Unique support we can make history! I'd also like to thank Unique Esports for the opportunity to represent them in Quake Live as well as their sponsors Antec, Custom Visions, Redux Energy & there soon to be announced sponsor! "
